I went for a walk this evening between rain showers, and shot some "long range" rabbits with my custom Savage MkII .22LR - "long range" in this case being between 60 and 150 metres. Film:

vry kiwi with the background surf roar.
the bunny at 2.46 or so, looks like the bullet went through and bounced along in the background off to the left?
thanks for the post
nice and still day for it. what scope are you running @gimp ?
Nice vid
Very tidy shooting.
Nice vid enjoyed it no shortage of bunnies there:)
Nice video man. The drone is a nice touch. Really shows off the landscape!
Nice, looks like a lot of fun despite the weather, those subs a pretty lethal alright.
so how much elevation do you have available from zero with that scope/rifle setup at the moment . . . . wondering how far you can dial up and shoot
cheers . . . R
I'll say this
Might take a couple of days for a reply Rossi, it's not that he's ignoring you just he's heading into the Rangitata and may or may not get a chance before.
Sharp shooting and footage , even that miss looked cool 😎 With the wee puff of fluff off the back of his neck! Cheers for sharing
Nice edit. Definitely had some thlr vibes a bout it. Keep it up.
Very topical. Dropped in at the Sister-In-Laws and they had a 22 projectile that had just been removed from the cats tail. My pick by the flat spot on one edge of the base and the good mushroom on the front is that the it had gone through a rabbit ricocheted and lodged in the cat who was stalking the same rabbit.
Very tidy. Cheers
nice vid gimp. what groups do you get at 100m? cheers.
I haven't shot it for groups at 100m, but it does this at 50
Attachment 77573
its been my experience that if you have 1MOA at 50 & 100 you will have it at 200 & 300 . . .
Attachment 77574
if you can make good wind calls & have a good firing solution . . .. i got on paper at 400, once, the next couple of times i tried couldnt hit a 1 meter target so put it in the to tough basket.
That's some good shooting.
Can't wait to put my quad through it's paces
Very good shooting and another good film as always @gimp. Mavic pro or spark?
