    Hi,
    For getting the deer home it doesn't really matter. If you have shot a deer in the Ruahines then you have to have carried it back to your truck in the first place. If you carried it out whole (Good on ya!) then having the whole thing in the back of the ute/boot is fine if the mess can be cleaned up easy. On the other hand if you have boned it out and it is in a meat bag then just remove that from your pack and then put that in the ute/boot.
