Just a tip that I use now is get a GPS with sight and go range the deer or last place it was seen lock the direction and enter the distance it’s really easy and will put you with in 5 m most of the time it saves a lot of mucking around and the wondering if you hit it or missed or if this is even the spot the deer was . It’s never let me down .
