Thread: Jetboat/hunt

Quick hunt up the river yesterday, was more trying out the gopro and what not.

Water was very cold.

Ended up walking for about 6hrs, one stag heard nothing seen.

Stumbled over a wasps nest coming down some very steep thick stuff, got smoked by the wasps, lucky we had our jackets on but my legs are very itchy now.

Good trip in some new country. Looked easier on the map.

Jock, cool video. Only people that go up there are generally pig hunters, they go up from an unlikely looking spot a bit further up.

You need to get some proper life jackets with a collar, those water ski ones are useless if you end up in the drink & whack your head, 4 people have lost there lives in that gorge since I've been boating it.

Cheers mate yeah there was a bit of pig sign around, its a bit steep getting out of the gorge thats for sure...

Yeah i have one of the collared jackets but should swap my other two out for them as well. Just to clarify we both do have lifejakets on under the coats. Was a bit colder than i thought...

That's a great little boat and trip.

A couple of pairs of motoX goggles are worth keeping on board too .
