    Labour Weekend Meat mission

Went into a little honey hole that's always worth a look this time of year. All three of us gotta Deer each so the packs were heavy for the slog out. This spot has lots of grassy clearing so late afternoon is always productive. I shot a spiker on the camp clearing. Next day we lazed aroumd in camp until 2:30 then headed put for another look.
At 6pm we heard Warren's shot in tje distance. 30 seconds later Oliver got a hind.
It was getting close to dark so I got the pack horse to carry it back to tje hut.

That spot has always been good , despite the what some people say that 1080 kills everything , it sure as hell hasn’t in there. Well done and those ribs look good alright.
