It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
Rule 5: Check your firing zone
Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms

    Happy Birthday @Trout,
You should be 75 like me in about 27 old codger months. Old codger time is the apparent time between events from our point of view.
    Regards Grandpamac.

My best man from my wedding 42yrs ago called in for a coffee and yarn.He is one day older than me,havnt seen him for a few yrs.Good times, health and old class mates talked about.Probly a good job we werent sitting around a camp fire under the stars. It would have been a long night on JW double blacks.

In the new world of Codgers,I managed to shoot my first deer.Only a big 6 month old fawn thru the neck at 120yds off my shooting stick.Seen a few deer some inside 600yds,some further.Last night never seen a deer. But 3 or 4 stags were roaring their trumpets out about 4am across the river, loud as.Home tonight to a warmer house. My deer maybe small, but it will be tasty.

2 torches and a knife, do you loved ones think you're a bit dim and too blunt?

If thats a lenser MH5, thats a nice allround headlight.

Also, happy birthday. I hope im still hunting and shooting when i get there.
