    RAIN SNOW=DEER

    Final got out to find some venison after 2 months of hayfever and flu.Tipped these 2 over just on 1st light in the drizzly rain and mist then the sun shined.Usual place,river bed edges,broom and spring grass.

    Long way to fill the freezer Rumpy,it was bone dry.18cu/ft freezer will take a few deer legs and straps.

    The arse colour/pattern of that stag looks a bit unusual, maybe some farm/eastern genetics?

    About 65ks from the nearest deer farm.But deer do travel.lols

    Interesting, after a second look it's definitely an eastern/maral/wapiti type red deer arse. Certainly does not have a 'normal' bum pattern.

    Interesting comments on colours Puddleduck.I dont think about colours of deers rump when looking thru the scope.Its a deer,pull the trigger.
