    Ruahine Ranges Mountain Dolphins

I had a day off....shock horror so I went for a wander in search for bambi or the local freshwater dolphins!
First crossing appeared to be a likely spot for the Ruahine Mountain Dolphins.

Then headed down off the ridge where sightings of the Ruahine Dolphins would be better.

Headed back out via the Tamaki Stream searching the bigger holes in the stream for the Ruahine Mountain Dolphins but the low river level prevented any sightings this time.
