    @Flyblown I was out again last week with the rem mag. Four of the five deer I shot were bang flops with the shots ranging from 360 - 100 yards this time. Fifth was a rear lung shot. Link should take you to some of the kill shot videos and I dug this eldx out of the ground behind the scrubby stag/spiker shot at 360 yards.

    ive had similar results with 162 eldx outta the 280 rem at 300 and 450m on Sika- recovered projectiles look same as yours.

    Hey good stuff, I am using 150 ELDX out of the 7mm08 2750ft/sec, similar result, spit the core BUT typically dont penetrate right through and very poor blood trail, not entirely convinced yet.
