gps follower - I prefer the mule deer too. Cool look looking deer and they tend to live in more interesting mountain country. The Wyoming tag i had was for mule deer in Oct and that was my plan but fortunately the same tag changed to whitetail in Nov so i was able to hunt at the later date. Last year they had a lot of snow in Oct so it would been great mule deer hunting as the unit i had included some big mountainous country where big mule deer live and head to the lower part once bad weather hits.
