    2019 Mazda BT50 seatbelt alarm.

I've worn a seat belt on the road since I rolled my Landrover in 1975.

Just upgraded to a BT50 and the alarm drives me nuts on the farm or in the bush.

Can the seatbelt alarm be turned off.

If not what brand ute/cab extra can.

Go to the wrecker and cut the male off two seat belts and plug these in on the farm.

This works in 2014 ranger. Think it's 5 times though.

or latch it across behind you......worse is if you have heavy bag on passengers seat it will say seatbelt needed too.

To toggle the alarm on or off on the PX2 version, it's ign key to on, then off, then back to on then plug in the drivers seatbelt and unplug it until the seatbelt light in the instrument cluster flashes (I think more than 5 times? Can't recall specifically as I only do it if Ford resets the thing bless them) then key off.

On a side note Mazda NZ have announced they'll no longer sell the BT-50 in NZ from later this year last shipment has arrived in country and once gone, that's it

Oh well, not much to be missed there. Maybe some cheaper parts for other model utes in the disassembly sector. The Ranger sibling did the job ok, but that face - OMG what were the designers thinking???
