We never had engine troubles with our ones but every wof they needed a decent amount of money spent on items other than consumables

The only good thing about the Toyota tax is it's universally accepted, people continuing to pay stupid money for them means they will continue fixing them up forever.
A mate bought a 100 series LC, paid over $30k for a vehicle that should be under $20k, you'd think he was mad to do so but after a couple of years he can probably sell it for the same price and get his money back.
