    Yep logical for most people, I think most do it for looks. I'm through deep water all the time, and class a snorkel as cheap insurance. That being said, if you actually look into snorkels and their purpose, Safari in particular have always maintained that their snorkels aren't for deep water crossing, they're for getting cleaner air to the motor in dusty conditions...

    Nice job @gadgetman they're a good truck those bighorns. I always install my own snorkels, the two times I haven't, they weren't even 100% sealed!!!

    Exactly, but they can generally be made to seal.
