Yep they allways do, just dont see the point of a six speed man with a good motor.

150kms a tank difference, I'd never have another auto.

6 speeds are made for highway running, reailty is that what all the new utes are made for
If its guns, tits or tyres it's going to cost you lots of money

Have they dropped first down to a usable non clutch frying ratio? most of the 2011 utes shaggers especially were ridiculously high in first

The D-Max would be a good choice for a serious off roader.....

I like the VW Amorak looks and the new STX 550 power, combine the two for a good ute

They boasted the amorak 1000 ks out of a tank , could mean overly large tank or a very impressive technology ?

80 litre fuel tank, so if you nanaed it and got the claimed 8km per 100kms you would end up with 1000kms. but you would have to walk home.

Small 2 litre motor with twin turbos, heard they have no bottom end power but love to rev, europeon desiels go better than japs.

I can get 800kms of normal driving out of my 2.2 santa fe and 70 litres.

I'm getting around 800km on a tank, 80 litres, so 10l/100km which is a bit more than they claim... On open road driving it does about 8.5l/100km

The gear ratios on both the manual and auto are quite close, with a good low 1st gear.
If it's not a first round hit you need to practice more

Yes, you don't have to ride the clutch till you smell it burning or wonder if your gonna get t-boned through no guts at the bottom end.

Went hunting the other day with a guy that has a new Amorak - goes well on the road not as good as my hilux (2004Turbo) off road - keeps fighting itself when you want to take off in low and stalls 1st and 2nd sound a bit clunky but only those two gears when changing - manual truck
