    f**k me, I like that.
    I'm assuming the alloy was all laser cut ready for you to weld?
    I've been looking at those DIYNO boats on trademe, but looks like yours comes in significantly cheaper on build price.

    Nice mate. Quite a similar design to our seahouse. Make sure you get the prep absolutely spot on before you paint, otherwise it'll bubble like ours did/has started to.

    Abe was right! It is awesome. Pretty friggin awesome in fact. Very nice tinny mate!

    You need to bring it over the coast and I will show it how to find some big bugs and bluenose!!

    I even have a place to park it when we are not using it

    Yeah all Cnc cut, just have to fold it

    The proper kitsets come with detailed plans/ instructions which is why they are a bit dearer
    Plus I think they have glass included which is another cost

    Plus if something needs changing etc can just weld it on

    Interesting, I have a 6.6m Southern and the Trailor is ali, Even after 12 years its still holding up, no issues yet
    All those with dogs waiting no longer fear death. Those with many dogs waiting even welcome it in it's time.

    Yea our boat Is 9.5 meters and 5 tonne on an Ali trailor and we've been towing it all over the north island for the past 5 years and its as good as gold

    yeah im sure with a good design it would be fine,
    but i had 5 months to build the lot so went for steel as one could be welding alloy and one welding steel
