    Agree.

They're ok if you can put up with the oil leaks, electrical problem's, rust, build quality,

Having said that , I wouldn't mind a GT shaker if I has the money.

Mazda build quality is far superior to the Ford efforts. Once, we had a car with a rattle in the sill. We couldn't figure it out. Cutting open the sill revealed a glass coke bottle and lunch wrappers, straight from the ford factory in Wiri.

    Hard case.

the sth africans got it right when they dropped a v8 in the capri (so technically not english built) guess i just lament the days of v8s, carberettors and plugs and points.. and only a handfull of wires to power the whole vehicle ....... at least you could work on them on the side of the road . on a side note we have 2 capri bodyshells at work frying to make one good one out of the 2...... both are pretty goosed (been used as race cars in a past life and also rotten as) the owner has a third which we are wondering is worth using

You could beat a Chrysler from the Petone plant, the girls ran a knock shop in the back of a truck at lunchtime, same on the night shift at Dunlop Upper Hutt, that time it was the ladies making the tubes, French chalk everywhere. As they say”Stick with Dunlop”

I waited in vain for you to add it had been gold plated or something. God know why you'd pay those $$$ for something that was pretty unexciting in its day.
