The VTX series are a fine ride mate,I still have an 1800cc,and have owned and sold several 1300,s.You cannot beat Honda for reliability.EFI vs Carb,I've never felt huge differences in the power,or response, except for performance at altitude.Your right, the 1800 is a bloody petrol hog .

'06 CR250R. Not the fastest model they made but is one of the nicest looking ones. Still goes good when you wind her up.

On the complete other end of the spectrum, I had a real craving for an old Brit bike ever since I found a Tiger Cub under a house in Khandallah as a building apprentice. So a year ago I picked this old girl up. Pure, raw motorcycling is the feeling I get when I ride it. The vibration and oil leaks...

Textiles at a track day ?
    What track is it?
Hampton insists on leathers and a back protector.
He nui to ngaromanga, he iti to putanga.

You depart with mighty boasts, but you come back having done little.
Sounds like a typical hunting trip !

Yeah. I told them I wasn't going to crash.
Track is Taupo. Moto TT run track days there. They do Manfield too.
Funny. Thought I'd deleted that photo???

    Just love old bikes.
This is my 1939 Triumph Tiger 100 race bike.
All the fruit (billet crank, Morgo rods, Arias pistons) and running on methanol. Goes like a rocket.

I ride a hyosung gt250 as a commuter. It's cheap to run but I have a craving for more power. I get my full in November so I may upgrade to something like a 600 hornet.
