    Anyone have Carvells Prices Realised

Hi all, as per title do we have a list of prices realised?

If you could up load it that would be awesome!

    Cheers.

Carvells don't publish the prices realised and its a huge job to list them all on here.
I kept a record of most of the lots sold today, which ones are you interested in?

Related, does the New Zealand Antique and Historical Arms Association release prices realised? Would be interested in what #424 went for in the April auction.

    312 M16A1 $4000
    268 1911A1 $3500
    263 M1 Garand $3000
    172 M16A1 $5400
    195 MP44 $7000

These are hammer fall prices, 12% buyers premium and GST on the premium should be added to get the actual price paid.

    Thanks heaps!

Can’t believe how cheap the Garand sold for! And the M16s.

Crazy times. Just wish I had the money.

Typical, buyers market and I can’t afford to buy haha.

The garand was pretty rough. I thought prices were generally pretty high which is good to see. But it’s an Auckland market. The 03 Springfield was a good ww2 refurb which would be a good shooter.

Bugger should have thrown a postal bid on it. But info on bore condition was a bit limited... Was shooting that weekend so couldn't go.

Heard from several friends during the weekend re items they were after at Carvell's

Off license were fairly hot prices
One friend got a cartridge pistol for a steal
I got a very cheap vintage shotgun
    Percussion pistols were hot
Some of the little items to complete a set were very expensive

So there still seems to be a little life yet left in the auction process here.
The last Antique Arms auction in CHCH was well run and an example that it can still work even for clubs and volunteers.
Ruahine still seems to pull in the lots.

But they are only as good as the last club member to have died ( sadly )
