    used to live in pet one but that was 45yrs ago,,so whats with parking in the windy city

    Streetparks are numbered - I think Palmy has the same sort of system from memory? - just pay for your numbered slot at the tombstone shaped meter thingy

    Of course if you have a ute that is a commercial vehicle and loading zones are good..

    Numbered parks are max 2 hours.

    You'd probably be better off parking at a train station like Petone and catching a train in to the CBD.

    When I was there to speak to the Committee (parked close to get out of the city quick and get home, long drive) it cost $24 for Wilsons Parking carpark, for 4 hours.

    There are quite often bays open at the bottom of Molesworth, along parliament gardens. Those are $9 for 2hrs.

    If you will be in town for the whole day, parking at Westpac Stadium is a good option. $12 for the day.
