grinder bloody great, saw was a failure and wouldnt even cut thru pallet wood without stalling, took it back. they sent it away for repair and lost it.

Building my carport my drill had no problems running a 16mmX400mm drillbit through the 250mm posts and 12X2 to put the bolts in. Also got a reciprocating saw, jig saw and angle grinder. Wouldn't mind a skill saw but I have 2 corded ones so not super keen to triple up ( although did that for the recipro since it's so handy doing a bit of pruning in the orchard or as M Duck says, I've use it to split sheep and even cut chops off the legs. Just buffed the paint off the blade first or it leave red paint on the meat).
