Cheers guys!! I've got an awesome sleeping bag and a thermarest neo xlite and wanting to keep my load light I might get a stoney creek fly and a small ground sheet and pick my weather to suit, decided on waipakihi for two nights as I've done 5 or 6 day trips in there.
Any other advice for me re where to camp etc, there's a heap of sign on the grass flats and Bush edges so I'm assuming I don't want to camp and smell up where i want to hunt? The sika must feed down there during the night and head back up to the tops for the day?
