I have a scary sharp, got a custom clamp as well to do small blades, great customer service and a kiwi product is a bonus, only limiting factors are the that there are only three angles (although you probably only need two unless you are super fussy) and the act that even the translucent Arkansas stone goes to about 1400 grit, which is still a tad tooth for me. Mind you it’s damn quick to get a very workable edge...oh and it makes a huge mess, need to use it in the shed and it’s not exactly portable.
Today my new wicked edge is ready to be picked up, hoping to be able to put insanely sharp polished edges on my knives now, and scissors too, once I get the hang of it I will be doing a comparative review...
If it works out I am looking at doing a sharpening service, as well as a knife repair one.
Who are you getting the wicked edge thru?
I like the look of them. Especially the clamp.
I have a lansky and can get a couple of my knives sharp but others are a waste of time due to the flimsy clamp.
