Baofeng all the way, they have a waterproof model too and they cost next to nothing. I load all the PRS/UHF CB channels along with the VHF marine channels so if you are hunting by boat, you can call in the boat when you are wanting to be picked up, etc.

I use these to, they are awesome especially on the tops.
Think they are hard to get now a days though, i got mine from amazon but that loops hole is closed now. 5w + 8w versions
