    Cactus work gear

Brought myself some $200 work /hunting pants . For those that don't no them they say you will never wear them out . I thought great they are a bit pricy but hey if they last well they be worth it . Had them for one day and scuffed my knee and they tore !. FFs I took them back they offered me a refund or they could repair them . Can't argue with that ,so I went for the repair ( patched knees) . Supposed to be fixed mid to later in the week gone . Rung up they say sorry will be next week as we got heaps of repair work . Not good enough got money back .
Any one had experience with there gear good or bad . I did like there pants but was disappointed on how easily they tore

Yikes! That's no good. I had some of their work pants for about a year and sold them (my child bearing hips finally showed up) near what I paid for them, they were good as new. They sort of feel like card board at first huh.

Never heard anything bad, I have a few mates that swear by their gear for snow sports but think all my mechanic/builder mates have Dickies work pants instead.

Loads of my workmates use and rate their stuff and I've used some of their gear through work too.
It's generally bomb proof and if you do have any problems then their after sale service is very good.
You were probably very unlucky that the trousers tore!

Love cactus gear, have been absolutely abusing a mountain jacket at work crawling under houses etc etc and it's still bombproof. I never get wet wearing it. Have a pair of the work shorts too and I couldn't fault them.

Love my Cactus gear. Got pants and shorts and don't often wear anything else. Picked up a Miklat pack and it is my go to day bag. Planning to buy more too.
My pants had a small amount of stitching come loose after about 4-5 years. Sent them back and were repaired for free, not even charged for freight home. Give them another go, must have got them on a bad day as I have nothing but praise for them and their gear.
