    Compact wet-weather gear?

Anyone have some ideas about light wet weather gear? I've used el cheapo pocket-stash nylon jackets and pants and want something similar but better:

For hunting and hiking it should be:
    -Light
    -Compact
    -Good rain protection
    -Durable
    -Quiet, possible?

    For cycling:
    -Good rain and wind protection

I don't mind spending some coin because I'm sick of the cheap stuff letting me down!

    Cheers

Ive got a Stoney Creek Huntlite jacket that rolls up into its own hood and I'd rate it- think it cost about 270?

I can't remember the brand but its a dark blue jacket and leggings sold at farm lands. Water proof wind proof light its good stuff. Quite a soft feeling material too doesnt feel like cheap plastic coats. Hopefully a farmer here will know what I'm talkin about

Is it the kaiweka stuff? I use it. Its definitely waterproof, but its like being wrapped in glad warp-it doesn't breathe at all.

You might be better off with something like a gore-tex jacket from an outdoor brand, they crush up to bugger all.

Honestly can't remember. But yeah I don't think it's breathable
