I have spent the last few days using a Stihl MS 201 TC-M (12") and MS 661 C-M magnum (22").
At different ends of the spectrum but both are a pleasure to use. The 661 eats wood for breakfast, lunch and dinner and the little 201 punches above its weight. Neither are cheap but I guess that's why. They are bloody good.
My own home saw is a 30+ year old MS 024 (16") which is still (no pun) going strong and starts on the second or third pull every time.
I am not brand biased but the only Husky I have used was a POS by comparison but I am sure that was just a lemon.
It comes down to how much money you can throw at one and how much use it's going to get. Unless you have more money than you know what to do with it's always a compromise.
