Thread: Fancy Gumboots yes or no?

I use gumboots in the same way as you. Just got through a pair of Mainlanders, they lasted well and were comfortable. My complaint is that the top of the boots slapped against my shins unless wearing thick trousers. The buckles always slipped and eventually broke. Looking at Skellerup Quatro Sport now. I like the idea of more fitted European-style boot (e.g. Aigle), but getting them to NZ is costly.
