    Flickering on new LED Flashlight?

    Hi there,

I have recently got a new LED flashlight - all of the parts recommended here.

It is lovely and bright, but after turning it on for a few seconds, it will start to erratically flicker.
No combination of buttons resolves this.

Am I looking at battery issues (I got these) or a dud unit?
    Any ideas?

    Cheers,
    Kumoe

Check the switch retainer on the inside of the tail cap is tight and that the threads are clean and not covered in grease. Those batteries should be good. If the battery voltage is too low some torches will give a steady slow flash but that doesn't sound like your problem.

Well, I tried the grease on the threads - there was nothing there I could remove.
I didn't notice any other issues with the torch - but it is driving my crazy.

    It is mad:

That is definitely one I have not seen. My pick would be the driver board.
