Happened to catch up with this very nice fellow,who had a few bits in pieces for me to have a looksy at... and have now ive successfully started my hunting kit :)
Still quite a way to go but im off in running now :)
I still look forward to anybody elses tips comments,and equipment they no longer need and that could be beneficial to me please post or p.m me please

Torpedo7 have sets of thermal baselayers for $30, just ordered a set.

I may have one of those aluminium mess/cooking kits around I could throw at you. I just use thin stainless bowls from some of the cheap shops (1-8 or something) in the malls for $2-3.
Hope you don't mean "Literally" throw them at me ? ... mind you depends you may live close and it might actually be possible ;)
