Thread: Hexamine Tablet Cookers

Greetings all

Just wondering of those who use these cookers if you can use the standard fire lighting cubes we can get from supermarkets/hardware stores? Do they contaminate your food/brew?

The fuel tablets burn pretty smokey/dirty, however if its just a case of cosmetics then would be happy to use them instead. They are much easy to buy and alot cheaper, they also burn alot hotter and more intensely than the Hexamine variety.
