Freshmap shows 3d and allows a fly through function once you lay a track/route. Shows shading too

Atlogis NZ maps are now showing two high resolution hillshade models, 'Igor' as an overlay and 1m hillshade as a layer. I reckon the 'Igor' one is better as it doesn't hide features on north facing aspects so much. It's a pretty cool feature for spotting tracks in bush and impassable guts etc. It's avaliable on free version also.

Its good for SAR as it has live location and once out of range it stores the info then uploads it as soon as you get back in range. Also has multiple layers that you can overlay which is fantastic, the other week we had topo with an overlay of satellite set at 50% transparency and it has very good image overlay too as well as the sun shading overlay with many others, highly recommend it as an app.
