Bushbuck is 1.5kg and thats dry. Silent material normally holds water as well after a while . Might be ok for a day trip or spotlighting off a quad but buggerd if Id put one in a pack.
Something like the Kuiu guide jacket covers 95% of the job, less than 1/2 the weight and sheds water, add an ultralight gortex rain jacket for the real wet. Layering is by far the best option if your packing.
