    Huntech Microform Review

Huntech - Microform Sweat High Country

Purchased this sweat-shirt from Huntech in XS over a month ago. It is a lightweight, breathable longsleeve top with fleece inner-lining and water protective outer. In Men's sizing so fits off at the chest with a V-neck zipper that comes down far too low for me - but that's about the only thing I can complain about

This top is great! It's by far my favourite thermal layer of clothing! So far in hot weather it has been breathable enough as not to overheat when moving. I can still wear a thermal underneath if necessary. It has wrist/palm covering for when wearing a jacket that exposes your hands. The outer layer is actually really well woven material.

Instead of wearing a wetsuit I wore this top when kayaking on a rainy day in cold weather, in light rain it has good resistance and when I rolled and fully soaked the top it still kept me very warm in the wind and rain! Also dried quite quickly for a product with fleece.

Since the weather has deteriorated I have been wearing this most of the time around the house - very comfortable and quiet. However I would say for much colder winter weather - you'd wear this to keep warm while moving a lot, however pile more layers on when still as it's great with body heat but still a lightweight layer.

If I could afford to chuck out my "crapmandu" "thermal" tops to buy several of these, I would. Far better quality. And not a bad design, either!
