    Yeah they are spendy. Mine was when they did the cheaper line. Same material as the guide but no hood.

    I do like the soft shells but only use it on fly ins or road hunts

    So tell me more are they quite heavy I see they are on special or is one of there others a better option.

    Not to heavy but fairly bulky. Nice to have in the winter as they cut the wind like a rain coat but are quieter and breathe better. However kind of double up in my layering system so gets the chop if I'm carrying camp on my back

    I have a bit of Kuiu gear now, and some I have had for a few years now and no complaints. I have only one pair of hunting pants, and they are the cheapest pair Kuiu do. So I have worn them on nearly every hunt over the past few years and they are still going strong! A tip is to shop in their outlet section and things are a lot cheaper.
