About LinkBackskuiu chugach would be hard to beat for a multi purpose south island jacket. Maybe not as durable as the swazi anorak but it packs down about half the size and is nearly half the weight. Also it doesnt act as a sponge like the swazi as its got a direrent outer layer.
The best thing i find with it is the 4 way stretch
Down sides are its not long in the tail
