I have been using a Macpac Micro-lite for a few years now for a single person, enough space for yourself, but no one else. Two main reasons why I rate it, first, the tub is heavy duty, so no need for a "Footprint", second, it can handle WIND, point the Keel into the wind and it can handle it. I was at a height of 1500 metres one time and had everything thrown at me, you could hear the wind gusts coming up the hill, and then they would hit! On the Second day, I thought it was time to leave. The tent is suppose to be a three season tent, but it stood up well. Packed down if I recall correctly it weighs 1.3kg, I don't use their pegs, I use those cheap plastic ones because they have more surface area and better grip, plus they weigh about the same.
Micolights are 4 season, I also have one and its been a lifesaver over the years in some truely horrible weather!
The only issue is the inner sags a bit which is annoying, otherwise perfect 1 man tent i reckon.
