About LinkBacksyeah 1500mm hydrastatic head which is alpine type specs... many normal weight 3 season tents have 10,000mm head cause we lie in water sometimes and rivers flow under us. The footprint increases the head on the alpine tents which typically don't get the hydrastatic pressure in the snow and tussock. pretty sure the hubbas have a similar head and benefit from the footprint as well..
