Hey Gadgetman, are the boards direct to copper mounted or still with dielectric layer?

Ok thanks for good advice - the consensus from here and nzrimfire site is fairly clear.

Maxtoch will make cord length for the M24's pressure switch at 40cm - and a part of that 40 will be in curly cord. 40cm is plenty for normal use but the curly section will allow those who need more cord e.g. when mounting pad on longer 12gs etc to do so.

Maxtoch also bringing out a similar pressure switch for the bigger 2X. This has different threads/tailcap from the M24 - part of the weight saving for the lightweight M24. So different switch coming for the 2X - no doubt they'll standardise threads over time.

They are putting them into production straight away.

So awesome, but does it mount the LED direct to the copper, like a sinkpad v2 or noctigon? Or is it like the Illumination supply ones with the silk screen behind the led?

I would assume direct to the copper, I have not taken the emitter off to inspect. It is solid copper and I'd expect the middle pad to be against the copper sub straight.
