Thread: New sleeping bag recommendations?

I have a domex halo and to be honest with a decent mat and a thermolite bag liner it's been pretty good, at 6'8 I am definitely in the lanky bugger category and the x tall version of the halo has plenty of room still both in length and width.
I've slept in some pretty cold places and been plenty warm.
I certainly don't regret my domex halo, and in reality if you do get cold there's plenty of room to wear a down jacket.
Like most we all want something better than what we have, the search for the ultimate gear is a never ending challenge.
