What's the frame in these? They look great, simple and light

They have a partial frame. The guy who makes them comments on it in the link (above).

Thats a very tidy looking pack. Looking forward to hearing a review after a few decent trips.

The bit I am waiting to find out: how does it go for comfort (and durability) frequently carting out a decent size red, at least 10ks rough country, steep climbs and descents. My K2 is great at that, but losing 3 kg pack weight is going to give a bit more longevity to the bipedal bit that carts it about.

Looks nice Tahr, do you send him your “measurements” for fitting?

Yes. The length of my back and waist measurement.

    I have faith it will.

This is its predecessor, a lightweight Gossamer and very similar to the Southern Lite. Its carried big loads a long way very comfortably.
I got the new one instead of another Gossamer because of the stronger material.

Still a bit of life in the Gossamer so it isn't finished yet.

So what are you going to do with the Gossamer pack now?

Keep using it til its buggered I guess. I don't want to hack the new one too much rough house meat hunting.

Do you want to try the Gossamer? - coming through your way soon.

He only posted it to me today. It looks like it will roll down right to the top of the shoulder straps.
Will let you away with it, provided you dont show up with matching shoes

I've been eyeing these up as need to replace a 90s Huntech internal frame pack... I'm keen to see how the early adopters get on with their packs before committing.

Biff a couple of cannon bones over the fence away from the gate, if you're quick you should probably make it to the back door.......
