You beat me to it..
I grabbed the Stoney Creek one when I was trying to find something to finish off a H&F voucher last year.
Only used it once so far, but worked perfectly for where I was, which was walking uphill through bush, with lots of low branches etc. Normally have rifle strapped to the side of the pack, and catch the barrel on a few branches on the way up. Could drop it low enough with the SC scabbard, that it didn't catch once.
Only negative was that it swung around quite a bit, but would easily be solved by adding another point of contact on the back of the pack somewhere.
