I compared it to mates Kuiu and another mates EXO, I didn't know anyone with a Stone glacier at the time & this was a year ago so Stone glacier wasn't instore in nz like they are now.
Its slightly heavier than both, but is made with heavier materials so i would expect it to be harder wearing i guess - It was also cheaper as they are here in NZ and had no international freight etc...
As i said before the thing that sealed it for me was buying it in NZ from the NZ agent, and having the backup / service here.

You can buy a pack with the frame/harness & then just buy other size bags to fit to the frame if you require some thing smaller (my Marshall is the biggest @ 105L)

And you can also wear the frame only with a "back strap sling" where you can carry a deer on the frame without a bag at all, looks like what you are after as it doesn't get any more stripped down than that...

We sure are spoiled for choice. Picked up a stone glacier puffer and that things next level and cheaper then the macpac it replaced

The eldest is 19 and full time pest control so he's up to it. But Grandad's pride gets in the way.

I'm an immature over 70's hunter and use a Hallmark Everest. Old school maybe but suits my average of once-a-month success. I'm more interested in the pic, what is the background of the rock formation behind group

Well there is currently culling going on in the Maitai catchment

Carried a few heavy loads in my 80l macpac Torre. Had it for years and still holding up well.
Liked the look of the huntaway but didn’t fit well. It’s a shame they don’t make it in several sizes

funny you say that at Lake Waikaremoana we had several honda power barrows - from memory about a 25 hp motor and rubber tracks - one walked behind and levers on the handlebars steered it - tipping tray - came walking up the Waikareiti track see how the boys are going and here they are coming down and four sitting on it and one steering

Was going to mention Hughes invented the best deer carrying pack I've used.

Put mud grips on yr ranger,only shoot deer where yr ranger can take you to yr deer.No packs required,just pillow slips and flasks of tea.

These load shelf packs are an absolute game changer imo, no need to faf around with your pack contents trying to jam meat in or worse having to strap your gear all over the outside to pack back to the vehicle.

Tad bit of dissembling as all your fotos show Bella carrying out the meat. Be a real bloke and get a Mountain Mule. LOL. Go hard bro.

$1800 landed? Have you included tax in that?
