Cheers the mythic 400 would be a cooler bag compared to the ultra 360 but less weight and about the same price I’m leaning towards the 360 ultra. The mythic 600 would be to warm for me I think.

What sort of temps do you want to use it for. Not a huge amount of fill, that would be good to just below freezing for me. Not quite enough for an all rounder imo

Was hoping to use it as a all rounder bag tahr hunting is my main target. My macpac latitude 700 has almost identical ratings as this bag and I’ve found it more then enough. Apparently the titanium blend inner adds extra power valve but isn’t included in the bag ratings standards.?

Nah the latitude is a warmer bag. More fill, (although lower power) but comfort at - 7 rather than extreme at - 7. Personally a comfort minus 7 would be the minimum I would condsider for a year round bag. I'm a relatively cold sleeper though

Ive shivered through enough nights to know its not worth skimping on a bag.
dale and Moa Hunter like this.

Would you consider wearing a puffer jacket with it also? As I tend to take one with me everywhere. Or has still been to cold?

That only works if your legs and feet have good circulation. I tried this and while it worked for my upper body I just found my feet where still so cold(3 pairs of merino socks all too big so they didn't compress my foot) that I couldn't sleep. If you have have good circulation and don't get cold feet but probably something to consider. I'm going to try down booties next as it did save me about 400grams and was during that frozen snap a month or so.

You can borrow my Fairydown Polar, Take your Hot water bottle and Teddy or take a lightweight bag to put over the top of the main bag

Yeah I'm the same as below. My legs and feet are what gets cold. Have you looked at the cumulus bags? Well rated and good price. Can buy direct. Someone on here posted a review not long ago
