I bought these radios 2.nd hand last year but have hardly used them.
I was going to use them on a hunting trip, but opted for smaller/lighter radios.
When I bought them they came with new batteries and new housing.
Both Radios are in good used condition and come with fast charging cradles.
They are programmed to each other; when a third party tries to reach you the radio alert flashes red.
You can press the monitor button then to listen, or press the TPP button and talk and everyone on the programmed channel can hear you.
Only tested them on the farm and they seem to do what is expected.
I don't know much about radios and I talked to one of the radio shop guys here in Nelson and he says these radios can easily reprogrammed to suit your needs if that is what you wish to do.
Selling those for less ($220tyd) and 'as is' as I don't know much about these.
