So a mate has an unexpected chance to buy himself a rangefinder. He wants to range to 600. Tossing up between Lupy and Leica in similar price brackets.
Your thoughts please gentlemen.
Oh yeah. He has an intermittant eye issue, so does not want to go for Binos.

If you only want to range to 600, is it really worth spending Leica money or will something cheaper do the job well enough?

I agree, if only to 600 the I would get a Bushnell from the states, much better option than Leupold (which I have been unimpressed by). I had a Bushnell for a couple year and was great, in saying that I have Leica nowQuote:
