    Recommended day packs 2025

    Hi team,

My trusty day pack has given up the ghost after many years on the hill and in the bush. After recommendations for what everyone is running in 2025 and why they like it. Not interested in Pikaus, but it is a bonus if a pack can be folded up and be stowed in a multi-day pack for bigger missions.

    Cheers!

Twinneedle mollyme is my current go to. Built tough, simple but customizable with additional pouches.

    Hi Bobba,

Do you find that with the side pouches you can push it out to function like an overnighter pack?

Everyone wants something different out of a daypack. This thread might be of interest to you: https://www.nzhuntingandshooting.co....ypacks-108431/

As for folding packs, I have the larger Hunters Element bag. I keep it in a waist belt pouch and it can take a small boned out animal. It does a job, but I wouldn't want it as my main daypack.

The range of what we think and do is limited by what we fail to notice. And because we fail to notice that we fail to notice, there is little we can do to change; until we notice how failing to notice shapes our thoughts and deeds

This. Does it all from day hunts to a couple of nights. Built well and carries a load good especially with a frame put in it.

    Hi Hahn,

I am interested. Why the reason for selling if you don't mind?

    Many thanks,

They are one size fits most and I'm on the shorter side. I couldn't get the weight on my hips when loaded up with an animal about over 40 kg and it really tore up my shoulders. I used a frame like Ryan above does and it really helped keep the shape, my frame is out of a great outdoors 35 which fits.
After suffering through a some big loads I changed to an Exo k4.
