Thread: Regluing boot soles

Morning all, anyone have recommendations for a glue to redo soles on my boots?
I've only about 10 hunts on a set of cheaper boots (most of that in the water) and the soles have begun peeling off.
Or do I just get a cobbler to glue?
Want to repair and relegate to light walks.

On the replacement front does anyone have decent boot recommendations at around the $300 mark?

You really need to use a good, heat activated contact glue.

If you do it yourself chances are they will come unstuck again quite quickly. A repair place will do a much more permanent job, but check how much it will cost first.

Last time I got a price from a Mister Minute to stick new soles on a pair of sandals it was only slightly cheaper than buying a new pair!
