I'm with Bos on this.
I tried a J1, not bad but too heavy already and muzzle sits way down past your thigh. Digs in on downhill runs, also sits too high so stock catches in trees and scrub.
Other strapa dictame options tend to slide and slip during the journey and come undone and are just as ungainly.
Best option I have is to sew a button to your shoulder top on jackets to stop sling sliding off.
