More evidence to support the fact that overseas hunters should have to use a guide to access westland. If he had the local knowledge of that area theres many relatively straight forward routes off those tops.

Enforcing the use of guides is going to be pretty hard to legislate. Firearms restrictions on visitors would be the easy way to do it, but I thought "we" were all against rules and legislation. Besides, this guy was bow hunting. It might be easier from a legal standpoint if we had some game animals in NZ, but since they are all pests, I can't see it gaining any traction.

I have found garmin to be one of the worst companies around to deal with when it comes to faults, try to blame the user and ignore that there is an issue with the product as if to admit there is would devalue their lines. Very gun shy about buying anything more from them after failures with astro setup

Emailed then asking to have my contract out on hold, now have to log onto the Garmin site. Never had to so now need to remember passwords and / or create an account!

Surely it can be done from their end!
