    Sleeping in the car works well depending on vehicle. Enough space and rear seats that fold fully flat are ideal which is why I prefer SUV style vehicles over utes. When I was doing a lot of farm hunting, I did this all the time. If that won't work for you, then I reckon an Aussie style swag rather than a tent is the way to go.
